Multiple Winners Markets

Postby dylan77 » Thu Feb 11, 2010 11:21 am

I am using BA to log data into Excel. I am looking at a market with multiple winners (eg. the Premiership Relegation, Top3, Top4 Finish, etc.).
Although I can see the required two amounts in the BA Profit column, only one of those seems to be imported into Excel. How do I get the second value into Excel, please?

Sorry, there isn't an option to output the second value. I will see what I can do in a future release. Adding additional columns will change the layout and potentially mess up everyone's spreadsheets, but I could quickly implement it by putting both values into the same column separated by a semi colon for example. I can implement this quite quickly if this is of use to you.

Thanks for your prompt reply, Gary. Having the two values in the same cell separated by a semi-colon or something would be great - thanks.

I have added a new option.

Tick “P&L contains win and lose figures in multi winner markets” when selecting log current prices. Column X will contain the figures delimited by a semi colon, eg. “1.82;-2.00”

You need to upgrade to the latest Beta to use this feature. See http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/forum/v ... php?t=3922 for download link.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
