dutch bets not matched

Hello

I have a problem with my excel spreadsheet: when I dutch for example 4 horses, sometimes three bets are matched but the fourth isn't, because odds changed exactly in that moment. May be that the fourth bet will never be matched, and so my dutch bet will not be completed (sorry for my bad english).
How could I solve this problem being sure all my dutch bets will be matched?

Hi,

Because in Excel you have to submit the bets individually there is always the possibility of one of them not getting matched.

You could perhaps use the Fill or Kill trigger modifier and so if the bet is killed i.e. not matched, then resubmit and just keep doing that.

Or request lower odds and accept the possibility that some of the bets might get matched at lower odds. You could reduce the odds by 10% (Betting Assistant will round them to the nearest acceptable odds when placing the bet). You will still of course get matched at the better odds if they are available.

What will happen if you place your bets using an array ?
All bets will be place in excel at the same time but will BA send them to BF all together?
The response from BF what will be?
Will it be for all bets send (the response) at the same time?

Sorry, Mark's post is slightly misleading. If bets are all triggered on the same refresh they will be placed in one request to Betfair with one response from Betfair.

The 10% lower odds is good for horses but not for greyhounds; here volumes are low and I would always take lower odds. Waiting is better because a lot of times I can take requested odds...

You can read about trigger modifiers in the "Using Excel" section of the user guide.

Basically fill or kill will cancel a bet if not matched in a specify time period. Eg. BACK-F1 will cancel a back bet if not matched within one second of the bet being placed.
If the bet is completely cancelled then the bet ref column will contain "CANCELLED".

Change the odds in column R to the lower odds and insert UPDATE in the trigger column.
