Site PM's

I've tried to send a PM through the site, but it's sitting in my outbox, rather than in the sent folder.

Does it only appear in the sent folder when the recipient reads it, or am I doing something wrong and not sending it properly?

When I'd written it I pressed 'submit'.
Also I just reopened it from the outbox folder and clicked submit again, but it's still in the outbox.

Any ideas anyone?

It will sit there until the recipient logs in and reads it mate.
