Excel logging still spotty

Postby spreadform » Sat Jul 03, 2010 11:06 am

When all markets are displayed in the first tab, logging of prices in Excel misses a number of races. This is not just a refresh issue as the gaps remain after several minutes.

This should be in bug reports but I couldn't see the correct forum after logging in.

I still cannot replicate the problem so I need you to try the latest Beta. Please install version 1.1.0.66x4 using the link below.
http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting ... _Beta2.msi

Select one of the markets that is not updating by clicking on the header bar above the grid. It should change to a blue background to indicate that it is selected. Then select "Display Excel Link Activity" from the Excel menu. Can you copy and paste the log into an email and send it to admin@gruss-software.co.uk

Cannot replicate this with the new 66x6 version. Will keep monitoring just in case it reoccurs.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
