v1.1.0.66x6 linking to Excel issue : display + Q2 triggers

I know you're having a few problems with the new updates and just want to make you aware of this one also..... I tried both the 66x6 and 66x7 versions this morning and both failed to work using the 'log multiple sheets quick link'

On the horse racing market with load different venues in different tabs, when the quick link is initiated, excel opens but each BA tab then becomes blank with the quick pick list missing across all tabs.

I've rolled back to 66w already so it isn't affecting my trading.

The problems I introduced shouldn't have affected quick link so I'm not sure exactly what this problem is. I've just tried to replicate what you're describing, but I cannot. Can you list the exact steps required to reproduce the problem?

Both invisible instances are opened from the same folder

It is not possible to select the 2nd instant from the workbook name dropdown list - only the first workbook is there

Gary - do you want me to email you these to Excel workbooks ?

Can I take you up on this offer? There could be something about your spreadsheets that I did not anticipate.

I can confirm that version 66x.10 now is working fine
It can find all the workbooks that were already opened, & it can log a new workbook as usual.Just to remind that all workbooks should be saved in the same folder

Not sure if I'm missing something here but since the version of BA where the "Browse" button on the Log current prices menu option doesn't show the file path next to it (a few versions ago, maybe 66x5 or 66x4), it doesn't quite work how it used to.

If there is already one workbook linked to BA then using the "Browse" button to open another workbook in a new instance of Excel does indeed open the workbook but then the workbook shown in the BA screen is only the one from the first instance. It is not possible to link to the newly opened workbook.

Although I've found I can open a second instance and link to it using the 'Log multiple sheets quick link' option, clearly this is not convenient if that has already set up for a different workbook.

That's what this thread is about. As far as I know the problem is resolved in version 1.1.0.66x10. Are you using this version?
If you are using this version then are the workbooks all in the same folder? I removed the path name box as a felt it was more intuitive just for the workbook name to appear in the drop down list.

Yes I've double checked everything. I'm using version 66x10 and I've tried with a few different workbooks, also with 2 tabs on one instance of BA or 1 tab on each of 2 instances of BA and it doesn't allow selection of the second workbook.

.......but after a reboot .... having JUST installed ver 1.1.0.66x10 navigation opens workbooks in seperate instances, and workbooks show up in navigation panel
