does anyone have records for suspension times for 1.30 ascot

Hi jumpsfan,

At the website of Victor Chandler you can see the video of the race.
On the video there also is the clock.
The video shows:
- time of off: 5:00:34 (same is ATR and Racing Post)
- time of the winner at the line: 5:01:34 (clock on the video).
This means that the race time of the winner would be 0:01:00 according to the vodeo clock.

This also means that the time of going In Play time of Betfair is 10 seconds after the real off.
I checked also some other races and most of the time the Betfair In Play time was about 10 seconds later then was recorded on the video.

I do not know when the race is normaly suspended. I can imagine that this is some seconds after the winner crosses the line.

I just checked 12 races of today with the video's on the website of Victor Chandler (Racing UK recordings).
All (except one) the starting times of Betfair compared with the video recordings were 10-12 seconds later. This is also the case with the suspension times.

Could this mean that the on-track betters can still bet on Betfair 10-12 seconds after the race is finished?

1:06 race time
these are times from betfair
it shows that they had the market open for at least 4 seconds longer than the race took to run.
if you have a betfair account you can email info@betfair.com and ask for these times.

the racing post says the race took 1 min 1 sec .17 ms to run
