I am having the same problem on all of my machines. Keeps trying to fetch Australian markets. Anyone got a work around?

Strangely I logged on earlier to Betfair and traded all afternoon. I was then forced to log out and now can not get back in.

Exactly the same as everyone else with BA trying to load markets numerous times.

Unusual for neither Gary or Mark to post a reply about this type of problem ?

It's been a few hours now.

It seems Betfair have changed the format of the data for the API call we used to fetch all the markets. It's unfortunate that Betting Assistant could not handle this. I have released version 1.1.0.65y to fix this problem. It should auto update next time you open the program. I will be releasing the same fix for the Beta version shortly.

I would normally deal with this type of problem much quicker. It's unfortunate that I am trying to take some paternity leave. Apologies, but it's just bad timing.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
