It's named BA_Diagnostic.txt and is in the folder named c:\temp\Betting Assistant Logs
You can then install the previous Beta from the link below. This version will not auto update.

If this version doesn't work then it was nothing to do with the latest Beta update, something else has gone wrong. The log does suggest that something has gone wrong with Excel's COM interface, but you should try this version just to confirm.

I have the same issue with 1.1.0.66x37: ´Workbook name´ drop-down is not populated. The log says:
System.Exception: Cannot create ActiveX component.
at Microsoft.VisualBasic.Interaction.GetObject(String PathName, String Class)
at Betting_Assistant.ExcelOptions.populateWorkBooks(String openWBName) in C:\Betting Assistant Beta 1_1_0_66x37\Betfair Trading API Beta\ExcelOptions.vb:line 632
1.1.0.65z1 works fine.
Cheers,

KESIMKESIM wrote:Hi Gary,
the problem identified by Ellen still exists - not sure whether you had a chance to fix it in the last release.
The way the problem appears to me is that the drop down list only contains the first excel spreadsheet I've opened. Any subsequent worksheets don't appear which they did before in the beta. This was useful to me.
If you need any more info. I'll gladly help.
Many Thanks.

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.
Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.
Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.
He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.
We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
