Virtual Racing Start Times

Postby fogosan » Wed Dec 29, 2010 7:26 pm

Hello,

I found similar discussion here:

I am logging virtual racing data. Quick pick list is refreshed few minutes after midnight. All markets between 00:00 and 01:00 are missing.
On the other hand, when I update quick pick list at 9am at the beginning of quick pick list will be races (time between 00:00 and 01:00) planned for next day. Here is my exel stopped, because it is waiting for race start (next races are OK)...

My issue is probably connected with time zones. Computer is set to CET...
Is there a trick for excel how to deal with this??? Similar experience?

Thanks!

It could be wrong data being supplied by Betfair again. I will look into it.

Gary,

Do you have more information? Is it due to wrong data being supplied by Betfair or should I check my VBA macro?

BTW last time I forgot to mention that my software version is 1.1.0.65z1

Cheers.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
