Is it possible to automatically copy the information provided in MyBets to another worksheet before it disappears into the ether?

Thanks

There are two ways the information can disappear: Different market selected or market settled. Which one are you referring to?

In either case there isn't an option in Betting Assistant to do this so it would require some VBA to copy the information and the VBA would probably require a different approach for either, ie. it could copy the information just before the market changes or it could copy the information after the market is suspended.

Thanks Gary. I'm referring to the situation when a new mariet is automatically selected.

I guess from your response that there is not an existing VBA module that has been written for this purpose?

Not by ourselves and I don't recall seeing anything posted previously. I recommend not letting BA automatically select the next market, instead use the -1 trigger so that you are in control of when it changes. You can then write some code to copy the bets before using -1. This way you can be sure you copy them before the market changes. If you try to detect it changing it will be too late to copy the bets.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
