New & Need some advices!!!

Postby Jencis » Mon Apr 11, 2011 11:50 am

Hi Guys

Previously i was Betangel user but after bad customer service, when they couldn't give me the right answers and pulled the things for at least 4 days without anything I finally decided to search for some other software. After good recommendation i decided to try BetAssistant.

Ok i will start with most important question.

1) Can someone please explain me how to set and turn on Stop loss with (Chase if unmatched) function? (What & where to tick to activate this function)?

My main aim is if the market goes against me then to loss at least some part of the full liability.

2) Can someone please explain how to get greening in In-play?
(What & where to tick to activate this function)?

3) And finally how to turn off the (Bet accepting window) when i put the bet, to get quick, fast one click bets.
(What & where to tick to activate this function)?

Thank you

&

Profitable day to everyone :)

My main aim is if the market goes against me then to loss at least some part of the full liability.

You won't find the chase if unmatched feature in the version you are using, but you know it exists so you must have read about it on this forum. You need to install the Beta version. See http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=9 for download link.
You need to enter the stop loss options as per the example screenshot below before placing your bet. Don't forget to untick enabled after placing the bet otherwise it will apply a stop loss to every subsequent bet you place.

Please note that it will only chase an unmatched stop loss bet if you have ticked "Level loss". It will not chase if this is unticked and therefore the stop loss stake is the same as the original stake.
2) Can someone please explain how to get greening in In-play?
(What & where to tick to activate this function)?

To green up you need to click the level profit column when you are happy with the potential profit it displays. See this video for a demo of clicking the level profit column to lock in a profit.

3) And finally how to turn off the (Bet accepting window) when i put the bet, to get quick, fast one click bets.
(What & where to tick to activate this function)?

Just untick "Verify bets" in the betting options at the top left of the screen.

You should read the user guide. Select it from the help menu in Betting Assistant or alternatively you can view it here

Thank you Gary for great answers :)

Two more simple questions:

Where can i put or change the Stop Loss stake?
Can i make Stop Loss stake automatical? (Depending on the situation in race)

Because if I bet on a different odds I need a different Stop Loss stakes to Match them and to change them manually is actually hard.

Thanks

You cannot specify the stop loss stake. It is either the same stake as matched on your original bet or if you have ticked "level loss" it is calculated to spread the loss across the other selections. In this case the stake varies according to the odds of the stop loss bet.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
