im having some trouble using the excel log current prices funtion.

when i try and load a workbook using the 'browse' function i can find and try and load it. the problem is in the 'workbook name' and 'worksheet name' drop boxes i have nothing there to select.

im using excel 2010 and have added the folder that the file is in to the trusted list in the options and tried saving the file in diferent formats as its an excel 93-2003 format.

im not that great with things like this and need some help in laymans terms.

It sounds like Betting Assistant cannot connect to the workbook. Can you verify if you are using the "Click to run" version of Office? To do this open the Windows control panel and select add/remove programs. If it is click to run it will appear as "Microsoft Office Click-to-run 2010" in the list. If you have this version then I'm afraid it won't work, you need to install the version that fully installs on your PC.

See http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/forum/v ... 0&start=21 for advice on how to install the full version.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
