1 to 60 bets required

Postby whymejimmy » Fri Apr 22, 2011 11:44 am

I have Gruss Multi staking spreadsheet running, and every time it matches the criteria and a bet can be placed, I get the betfair response "1 to 60 bets required" and the bet does not get placed - can someone tell me what this means? Thanks

I think it usually means that either the stake or odds cell doesn't have a value in it.

Ian is correct. Check that you are populating the odds and stakes cells correctly. If the trigger column contains a back or lay trigger and either of these cells does not contain a value then you will get this error.

Using Multi-staking excel spreadshet

Postby whymejimmy » Tue Apr 26, 2011 4:49 am

Thanks for the replies Ian and Garry...

Unfortunately I cannot seem to get the settings correct for using the various Staking Systems to work, each time I get the response about the 1 to 60 bets required - can you possibly post or direct me to examples of the various staking systems, and the settings required for each?

Up to now I have stuck with the laying 4th favourite, which works OK most of the time (I am slightly up) but I may have made more if I could have utilised one of the other staking systems available... perhaps other members have examples of their own experiences using these methods (Recovery, Maria, Ladder, LayPro88 and Kelly)?

I am concentrating on the Lay side of this, but would be most appreciative of hearing about other users who are backing and using the backing staking systems in this spreadsheet - or even other spreadsheets they use?

Many thanks for the great product, it certainly adds a bit of excitement in my betting ventures!

Cheers.

We don't supply staking systems. Are you using a spreadsheet produced by a 3rd party that uses our software or The Staking Machine maybe?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
