custom columns

Postby houchy » Tue May 10, 2011 8:01 pm

Just dowloaded the latest B/A x61 on to my new computer, and set up my screen the same as on my other computer.I use all the custom columns, with bet 1 bet 2 lay 1 lay 2. and profit nothing else.. I set them up order, but when i go to the next race (horses) they are no longer in order. The only other setting i use is hide selections over a given price. Is this a bug or something to do with the new computer, the other computer is working properly.

Sorry, I don't know why it is doing that. What happens if you re-order them by left clicking the column header, holding the button down and dragging to the required position? Does it still display the wrong order on the next race?

Yes drag them into correct order,go to next race and the bet/lay boxes are mixed up among the cxustom columns.

There aren't any bugs that I am aware of affecting column layout. Can you send me the diagnostic file. It's named BA_Diagnostic.txt and is located in "c:\temp\Betting Assistant Logs"

Please email it to admin@gruss-software.co.uk

You can also select "Restore standard grid column layout" from the options menu then drag just 1 column to another position and see if it remembers when you change market. If it does then try the rest.

Hi Gary,
Problem solved, clicked "Restore standard grid column layout" then added custom columns in order-1-2-3 etc.the problem was the order of the columns. Thanks once again.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
