Lay All

Postby johnnic » Sun Jun 05, 2011 12:20 pm

My Lay All button doesn't appear to be working. Nothing happens when it is activated but if I then press Back All or press lay for any individual, most (but not all) of the lay bets come up.

Are you talking about lay all on My Bets?

press lay for any individual
I don't understand what you mean by this statement. Can you explain further?

Does the problem happen on all markets?

Does the problem happen if you close and re-start the program?

Also can you confirm if you are talking about the bets not coming up before you submit or are you saying they don't appear in umatched bets after being placed?

Yes, Lay All on My Bets

Tennis Market, Wimbledon, Winner. I haven't tried other markets.

Press Lay All in My Bets, nothing happens. Press Back All and all is good, including the lay bets. Press Lay All, followed by any indidual Lay and it works.

Yes, I've closed and re-opened the program - no effect.

Same here. Doesn't work. It must be something to do with the number of selections and the recent changes I made to make it more efficient when displaying existing bets for many selections. I'll fix it.

It's actually because there are no backers for some of the selections. It should use 1.01, but instead is falling over. It's been like this for some time, but first time I have been made aware. I'll release an update in the next few days.

I'm not surprised it hasn't been noticed before. Laying All (by itself) doesn't sound like a winning plan to me. :D

Thanks Gary

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
