Software ?

Postby mak » Tue Aug 16, 2011 9:18 am

I had found 2-3 years ago a software which among other things mainly regarding registry -if i remember correct- it was showing all -or almost all- the passwords that I had in my laptop. For example it could show both my BA and Betfair passwords among others.

It was free also, but I can't remember which it was.

Does anyone knows it or can suggest a similar one?

I would guess you're either talking about LastPass (completely free) or Roboform (free trial but limited)?

Well, these are passwords managers which are helpfull but not what i was looking for.By mistake i had found that program and it was able to find almost all passwords i had used in my laptop. I read recently that all of our passwords can be retreived if someone knows were and how to look for,
and i would like to be able to see which paaswords are stored in my vps in order to delete them.

I am trying several vps through the year and would like to know if someone can hack my account.

I have a folder with a few different programs that are designed to find passwords i use them when i am working on a customers computer that has forgotten passwords, i am not sure there is just one program to do all passwords but a search on google will find what you want.

Yes, there is some utilities for firefox and IE
There is also this page http://www.nirsoft.net/password_recovery_tools.html
where you can find tools to recover passwords for many utilities-softwares

They usual recover the pass when you ask to save your password otherwise not...The software I am looking for and thats why I was impressed could recover even the password I never saved to my pc

I had to format my old laptop ( i was playing with some OS) and lost it

When I return from vacation I will try to recover it but I don't think I can manage it.

I think the program you are looking for is called "Cain and Abel"
I used to use it in the old days.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
