Excell and Betting Assistant

Postby philuk » Tue Aug 23, 2011 11:26 pm

Hi there

I just downloaded the autoreloadquikpicklist_multi and can work very well.

I just have a question, maybe i am overlooking it.

To make this work I need to open two tabs in BA one for place and one for win then log each tab onto excell.

The only problem i have with is that i would like it to load only the win markets in tab1 and place markets in tab2.

How do i do this, please?

The only reason for that is that I only use the place markets to place bets, but exclude maiden races.

Now on the place market it does not tell you if it is maiden or not.

So it reads it from the win market and then relays it to the place market to place a bet.

I have got all the formulas everything. It is working perfectly, i just need to know how to get it to load only place markets in one tab, and win markets in other tab..

Thanx in advance

Philip

The example you mention already does load the win market in one tab and the place market in the other. What actually happens when you use it?

You have to initially load the markets yourself before linking, but when it auto updates it should already be doing what you want. You can select "Clear quick pick list" from the market menu and then load the place markets in the 2nd tab using Market|Add to quick pick list|All UK Place (Horse Racing) from the menu.

Will try that thanx, did not know it updates itself.

Is it also at midnight?

Does it matter in which tab i put the win or place market?

Thanx again

The purpose of the example you downloaded is to reload the quick pick list at midnight so I assumed you had already tried this. It reloads the win market to the tab linked to sheet1 and the place market to sheet2. It does not matter which tab you put them in as long as you link them to the correct worksheet.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
