excel help

Postby bricklayer » Wed Oct 19, 2011 1:07 pm

hi, this is my first post and im currently using this software on my trial period,
first impressions looks good.

just wondering how to put a condidion statement in excel similar to the built-in one in the software?

im running v.1.1.0.65z9a
im also trying this trigger BACK-T10-SL20-L-SLC1-IP in the trigger cell.
i would like to add a condition in the odds cell so that it only triggers the bet when the odds drop to around say 1.9, obviously it backs the current availiable price as this is higher than what im after.

"-SLC1" is not supported in the version you are using. You need to to upgrade to the Beta version. See http://gruss-software.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6623

You need to use a formula in the trigger cell to make it conditional so that the trigger is only populated when the condition is met.

eg. if your trigger is in cell Q5 the formula below will only fire the trigger if the back odds in column F are less than or equal to 1.9.
Code: Select all
=IF(F5<=1.9,"BACK-T10-SL20-L-SLC1-IP","")

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
