Latency

Hi, I believe the figure in brackets next to the actual refresh is the latency, I have just set up a new server and I'm gettting the occasional minus number in the brackets. Not quite sure what that means, any ideas appreciated.

Shouldn't even be possible unless it's a bug. Is this the Betfair or Betdaq version and which version number is it?

It's the Betfair version x82, latest Beta I think.

Just as we're on the topic of refresh rate, is it possible to send the actual refresh rate to Excel? Would be very handy to know, especially if Betfair is having a bad day and refresh rates are on the poor side.

It's not currently, but could be an easy addition if I can find spare cells. I'll look into it.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software


The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.
