Max Liability added to version 1.6, you can set this amount to what you want on the Preferences Sheet. Just a shame it wasn't in place before funky's loss. I've sent an email to Captain so he can upload when he's next free.

The horizontal format could be done easily, but because of the size of the text that'd be needed on the buttons, it makes the size of the form massive and it looks ugly too

Now back to the Snooker...

Ok! BA is not as effective because you can't see 30 ticks at the same time. We must click on the arrows to change the odds. But if it looks so bad, just forget it.

What about the Net button? Is it working as it should?

I think the password is only for the VB Editor.

a1ehouse may allow people to have a look at some point.

The net Button is not enable is it? I was trading today and my bet was not fully taken at the Net button didn't "say" anything.

Another thing is the Liability option is not working too. I made a 50 bet and the my max is 30. It worked before but now it doesn't. Is it because I've made 20 trades already?

Thanks

I'll continue testing it during the afternoon tennis cupon

Dedes, liability is calculated from your stake at the odds you are taking: (Stake*Odds)-Stake
e.g. Max Liability set at 20, you can still set your stake set to 25 so each bet you place (Back or Lay), you are able to place a bet of 25 at odds of 1.8 or less (25*1.8 )-25 = 20. You can't place a bet of 25 at odds of 1.9 or more (25*1.9)-25 = 22.5

The Net button only becomes active when the Matched Stake > 0 and is only the value from that column. You must also manually cancel the bet which didn't completely match or you run the risk of it matching at a later time. The Net button is the bane of my life... and is the least developed part of bLadDeR.

Ok, About the liability I think its ok. About the Net button I must run further tests. The hedge button is fine!! 8)

Is it possible to see more odds on the ladder? We're seeing about 26 ticks is it possible to see about 35?

Another thing that stays =0 is the average odds and matched stake. Any reason for that?

And can I change £ to €?

Good bit of testing dedes, glad you confirmed Hedge is working! I can put more ticks on the ladder, just not sure how many as you start to take up screen space. I will have a think. Avg Odds and Matched Stake always read the Excel Sheet, so if they are not updating on there then there's some other issue. Perhaps because there is no bet ref that the sheet doesn't update? Can anyone confirm the av odds/matched stake column please? If you want to change to Euros feel free, just highlight the column in Excel right click and format the cells to your currency as normal. It's not programmed on the form (...yet  ).

A1ehouse,

I was thinking again about the liability issue and I still don't know if its better to leave it as it is or to change it to the way I sugested before. I'm talking about the stake amount. Suppose something goes wrong with the Hedge button or Net button and it send a Lay bet of 1000 at 1.01. (1000*1.01)-1000=10. Ok, its not a lot of money to loose but I think it more simple.

Can you post or thoughts about this issue please?

Dedes.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
