Stop Firing After Offset Matched

Postby jrarmstrong » Thu Mar 29, 2012 4:10 pm

Hi,

I have noticed a few times recently when using the tick offset/stop loss triggers that the stop is firing after the tick offset has been matched.

So in the most recent example Excel layed at 2, backed at 3 but when the price went down to 1.3 the stop fired. What could be causing this?

Thanks,

James

Sorry it's not an issue we are aware of. We cannot tell without seeing the diagnostic log. Can you upgrade to the Beta version if not already using it and send us the log file from that version. See http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=9 for download link.

The log file is named BA_Diagnostic.txt and is located in "c:\temp\Betting Assistant Logs" folder. Please email the log to admin@gruss-software.co.uk next time it happens. You must take a copy of the log before the next time you open the application.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
