Excel Trigger Help needed

Postby mickyxx1 » Wed Jun 20, 2012 10:58 am

Hi all newby here for help,

I am trying an Excel trigger where I can back horse (the leading Fav) in play when the price reaches @ 2.00 and then if it moves against me set a level loss at 2.45 and greed up if the price moves in my favor @1.7. I have a trigger for the level loss bit but i don't know how i can add the green up to it to combine them,

=IF(AND(Y5=1,F5<=2.0,$F$2="",COUNTBLANK(T$5:T$50)=46),"BACK-SLF2.45-L","")

I couldn't find similar solution in the forum and I appreciate your input or your guide to the right direction in this forum for help. Thanks

Tn = Submits a Tick Offset bet where n represents the number of ticks to be used.

TLn = Submits a Tick Offset bet with Auto Level Profit where n represents the number of ticks to be used.

TFn Submits a Tick Offset bet where n represents the odds to use for the offset bet.

I think you need TFn trigger. So the trigger should be

"BACK-TF1.70- SLF2.45-L"

I never used TF trigger so it would be better if someone could approve it ..

mak is correct, except it should be BACK-TLF1.70-SLF2.45-L so that a level profit is produced when the lay bet is placed at 1.7

Thankx guys for your quick reply, I tested it and works well,

If I can add another question, is it possible to add in the formula if unmatched bet (Level profit or level Stop loss) fired to cancel it after few seconds and fire another bet. Also wondering can the CHASE IF UNMATCHED option on the stop loss (on BA interface) can be incorporated with an excel triggered bet. Thanks in advance.

There isn't a trigger to cancel tick offset if unmatched, but the chase unmatched feature is already available. Just change the trigger to read as follows.

BACK-TLF1.70-SLF2.45-L-SLC1

"-SLC1" is chase stop loss with 1 second wait before cancelling and resubmitting.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
