Multiple inplay football in excel + conditional bet on time

Postby miodee » Sun Nov 04, 2012 1:59 pm

Hello,

I just started using the software and am trying to get a handle around how to use it correctly. Went over the demos and can figure out how to get one market into excel and set a conditional bet. However there are a couple of things I would like to do which i'm not quite sure how to yet. These are:

1) Can i have several inplay matches running in Excel at once so that I can set a conditional bet on each one?

2) Can i set a conditional bet that includes what time it is in the match currently? So lets say if is the 50th minute and the timer is at -00:50:00, how can i specify a condition that would say if it is the 51st minute then BACK a win by team X, for example.

1) Yes you can open each market in a separate tab page in Betting Assistant and these can be linked to separate worksheets. See "Multiple markets" in the user guide.

2) Betting Assistant is not aware of the time within the match so it's not currently possible.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
