Please! - What am I doing wrong?

Postby Royville » Wed Nov 14, 2012 3:19 pm

Please! Please! Please!

Can some one tell me what I'm doing wrong! It seems no matter what I do I cant get a stop loss to work. I'm using BA betdaq and laying between 3 & 5 using the min of 50p stakes (at the moment).

I'm trying to get a stop loss bet to kick in at 1.4 odds, but as the odds go down towards that value, then past the value absolutely nothing happens. Ive tried LAY-SLFn, LAY-SLFn-S and LAY-SLFn-SL.

Please can someone Help!

Regards

Hi,

Today I tried 'LAY-SLF1.7-S-IP' and it just didn't work.
Again I watched the odds on one selection actually drift down, I saw 1.7 in the LAY column of BA then 1.65 and it bottomed out at about 1.35 before drifting out again, luckily the selection lost, but no stop-loss bet was fired.

Could you at least say if the format of the trigger is correct? - All I want to do is to place a 'Loss-cancelling or Loss-reducing' counter bet if my selections odds drop down below 2.00 or so.
Thanks in advance.

Apologies. The trigger format is correct, but this is a bug. I am working on a fix and will release an update asap.

I have released version 1.0.8.7 to fix this problem. It should auto update next time you open the application.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
