Find MarketId with a bet ref

Postby Tradyann » Tue Nov 20, 2012 10:08 am

Hello,

I don't know how to find the market Id of a bet.
I can found "bet detail" objects with this code

Code: Select all
Option Explicit
Dim ba As New BettingAssistantCom.ComClass

Sub SearchRefBet()

    Dim Bet, IDmark As Variant
    Dim ba As BettingAssistantCom.ComClass

    If ba Is Nothing Then
        Set ba = New BettingAssistantCom.ComClass
    End If

    Set Bet = ba.getBet("9999999")
    IDmark = Bet.selectionId

End Sub

I don't know if it's possible to find "bet" objects ?[/quote]

It doesn't have that property, but if you triggered the bet from Excel or your code then you should already have that market id available. It's in cell N3 of the worksheet.

For N3, it's not the good ID if the market has changed.

I have circled the problem with a copy of N3 in "result" when the good market is opened.

I have updated the Beta version. BetDetail now has a marketId property. Please uninstall and re-install from the link below.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
