Trigger modifiers

Postby Royville » Sat Dec 15, 2012 5:42 pm

Hi all, I'm still not getting to grips with these trigger modifiers.

Can some one please talk me through the process of the following LAY bet?

Odds of 5 and £1.00 using LAY-SLF1.9-IP

The bet is taken, then odds drop down below 1.9 so the stop loss gets fired

1. What happens regarding the '-SLF1.9-IP' bit ?
2. What would happen if it was '-SLF1.9-S-IP' ?
3. What would happen if it was '-SLF1.9-L-IP' ?
4. What would happen if it was '-SLF1.9-SL-IP' ?

What would be the best modifier to use to reduce my losses if the selection went on to win?

Thanks in advance

Forgot to mention that I'm using BA for Betdaq.

Thanks.

Doesn't anybody want to have a go?

Basically, I just want to know what the differences are between

-S -L and -SL.

The S is for a sliding stop loss: If the odds move in your favour the stop loss moves too.
The L is for a level loss: The loss is evenly distributed among all selections.
SL is for both.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
