User Manual

Postby fjt1973 » Fri Jun 16, 2006 2:25 am

Hi Guys,

First of all I would like to say what fantastic piece of software this is :D , When I start making a profit I shall be making a donation.

I've used the software today as a trial and had fantastic fun....

A couple of question.

1. Is there a User Manual to explain each bit, how to use spreadsheets for your betting, dutching :? etc etc - it took me all day to realise WOM is Weight of Money

2. Is it possible to to make the betting Window longer ( i.e so you can see most of a large fields without having to scroll up and down) but without removing the placed bets section at the bottom but making it smaller. - Lost out today because some outsider come romping home and I didn't see it shorten as it was out of view. Thought I was getting great value when backing a horse at 1.5  when betting suspended (wasn't watching the race either - Come on England !!!!)

Thanks in advance

 Now seen the demonstration video's brilliant - the only way you learn is by doing.

With regards to the spreadsheets and formula's does anyone have a formula for picking the winner and backing it while I'm sunning myself :D

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
