Trigger level profit, kill, stop loss level profit with chase

Postby keesbart » Mon Apr 08, 2013 9:23 am

Hello,
Is this a correct trigger?: BACK-PL50-F60-SL100P-L-SLC5-IPC
- level profit 50%
- if unmatched after 60 seconds: cancel
- stop loss at 100%
- chase stop loss
- keep all (initial, level profit, stop loss) in play

Other question:
- is the F-trigger only used for the initial bet, or also for the level profit and stop loss?

Hi,

Yes trigger looks good, the chase stop loss part is set to a 5 second wait which you didn't mention and is a level loss which it has to be if you want to use the chase feature.

The fill or kill part does only apply to the initial back bet.

Mark

I have another question.

Can I use the seconds in decimals for the SLC?
e.g. SLC0.5 or SLC1.5

Hi,

Yes you can use decimals for the chase seconds.

Hi,

I have another question concerning the chase stop loss.

Is case 1 of case 2 what happens in this example.
Trigger in a lay for stop loss: SL50P-L-SCL1.
Odds are going down and below the odds for the stop loss.

Case 1:
Stop loss is not matched, wait of 1 second before the next retry, still no match, wait of 1 second before the next retry, etc.

or

Case 2:
Stop loss is not matched, wait of 1 second before the next retry, still not matched, immediately next retry, etc.

In case 1 there is a wait of 1 second between each retry.
In case 2 there is a wait only at the first retry.

Hi,

My questions are:
1. Is there a delay between every retry of the stop loss e.q 1 second in case of SLC1?

2. Is there no delay if the trigger is just SLC?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
