Ba not connecting/openeing excel

Hi ,

When i opened BA this morning and tried to link it with my excel spreadsheet it won't seem to connect or open it.

The strange thing is that i have been using it normally as usual even had it running yesterday with no problems till i shut my pc off late last night.

I have checked for any changes done by pc especially excel no updates or changes have been done at least for a week and i have well and truly used it since then for many hours.

I Removed and reinstalled BA but still won't link.

If someone has a answer or idea i will be very grateful , oh and yes i have rebooted several times

Restore to a previous point
reinstall offfice
reinstall windows

in answer to your questions , i have been using excel all day today i use it to analyze form etc... so i have had no real problems , i did notice that windows updated excel 5 days ago and i have had no problems till this morning (aussie time)

I am about to undo the updates performed 5 days ago so fingers crossed

i just to let people know i reinstalled ms office and all is well know, can't put my finger on what happened but all is well now.
