API-ERROR Anyone....?

Today, I was receiving the Error Message of:

EVENT_CLOSED

At the beginning of horse races, when I submitted my Sub £2 Trades, even though my test is for E2="In Play"......

I don't believe that betfair are taking this bbm_daemon... matter seriously. I suggest that we pester them about it by emailing them at bdp@betfair.com.

From yesterday i see EXPOSURE_CALCULATION_IN_PROGRESS instead of BBM_DEAMON_NOT_AVAIABLE while my updated bets disappearing.

That means that still we can not place many bets below min at th same time?

I dont know. I am trading on ladder and i am not using excel. Since February there was BBM_DEAMON... error while updating multiple bets price (more than 1) and some of them were dissapearing while updating. Stake size doesnt matter.

Now situation is still the same but error changed his name.

I am using betting assistant since 2009 and there were no problems like that before February.

Thanks for that Sometimes i am close to the exposure limit while updating more than 1 bet, but it happens even when i am 50% of my account exposure.

I just made a simple test. I placed to bets at 1,01 lay. Stake 2 Euro. Update them to 1,02 and again to 1,01 and few times like that. There is no error.

Stake 2000 Euro, two bets lay at 1,01 and update them to 1,02. Error occur. One of bets dissapears. I have 2000 Euro at 1,02 instead of 4000 as it should be.

So the biggest explosure the biggest chance of error i guess.

One last thing. Why stake doesnt matter but exposure does.

Becasue when i place 100 Euro back bet at 55 price with 1 tick offset. Matched. Then another 100 Euro 55 back matched then i have two 100 Euro bets lay on price 50. Price goes up and i am updating these lay bets to 60 one of them dissapears. I must place it mannually.

At similar situation but price back is 1,02, lays are 1,01 and updating them to 1,03 - there is no problem.

Works good so far from my end. Possibly just a minor system glitch?

Well, the "Good News" is that I have not had any

BBM_DEAMON_NOT_AVAIABLE since Wednesday......

However, the "Bad News" is that I now get

"EVENT-CLOSED_CANNOT_MODIFY_BET"

This is using an Excel Spreadsheet that I have used for the last three years without any modifications.

All my Spreadsheet is doing is using the UPDATE Trigger to modify some odds when the market becomes UNSUSPENDED.

On the ladder everything turned back into normal situation. There are no problems with updating more than one bet by one click movement. Sometimes i get EXPOSURE_CALCULATION... error but its so rare now, that it doesnt affect my trading seriously.

I am just wondering why it took so long. Almost two months.
