it's the url for web changes that's changed. the bit after the date for example on runners index is now "&cardHomeTabs=runner_index"

Hi there. I'm planning on using this as a basis to grab other data from Racing Post (Jockey, Form, RPR, Days last ran, Age, Weight etc) to use while developing a system.

Is there a way to add the correct library for this spreadsheet? When I open it I get an error, "Compile error: Can't find project or library" so I assume I need to add the Microsoft HTML library, however as soon as I open the spreadsheet the error occurs and won't let me 'break' or stop it running to add the library. :/

The debug line is "Public Function getTissuePrice(ByVal horse As String) As Double"

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Figured a way into the spreadsheet and it seems it's missing the library "BettingAssistanCom" as I don't have a beta directory in "C:\Betting Assistant Beta 1_1_0_66x100/BettingAssistanceCom..."

OK I have it working.

The issue is that I'm using the BetDaq software and so I don't have the correct library in the sheet's references list. Using Google I managed to find the following:

http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting ... antCom.htm

That lead me to the installation of the beta and that in turn installed the required library.

Now to wrap my head around getting other info from RP using the methods in this example. ;)

Racing Post Tissue not working

Postby glomo » Mon Jun 03, 2013 10:00 am

I have connected the example Racing Post spreadsheet to BA though find that whatever UK race I click on the tissue price is not updated accordingly.

Is there something extra that I'm not doing or is it because I use excel version 2003?

Has Racing Post changed their link perhaps?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
