Excuse me.

Thanks. Seems to be working so far but I dont understand the meaning of the Coeff number. What is it a measure of ? Any chance of a manual ?

There appears to be a few issues:

1.It doesn't seem to pick up the results
2. The Coeffs etc don't update on a new race

It needs a few tweaks.

The Coeffs now update but in its default state doesnt appear to be choosing any runners and I dont know how to change any settings without understanding what they mean.

A manual or a Help file is really a necessity.

The coefficient may vary depending on the type of strategy to be pursued. The 3 types of strategy with coefficient are:
Sp_Dogs
Sp_Life
Sp_GB

The Bot, when in Auto (checked) assume the coefficients to be a database of information that we ourselves are going to create.
To be able to set the right way to go in the menu:
? / Recovery Error (For the moment it is placed here, it will change the position)

In the window that opens, we set the coefficients of the 3 strategies.
Press OK at the end of setup.

Coeff

About the coefficients, we can get an idea of their use by relying on statistics included in the bots and which are continuously updated by the bot itself.
To access the panel Statistician position in the Menu:

File / Stat

Just Checked Sp_Life or SP_Dog or SP_GB and press Calc to have an account of how the coefficients are coated.

Thanks for the updates. However, without a detailed manual, I really haven't a clue what the Coeffs or Stat window means.
Perhaps its obvious to you but I doubt it is to any other users.
I don't know what your longterm plan is with this software. If its just for you then fine but if you're going to try to get other users to buy/rent/use it you're going to have to think a little differently about a manual or help file.
I'm trying to help and be positive but I really haven't got a clue what your software is trying to do without a little help from you.

Not being able to make head nor tail of this software, I've given up trying.

The ball is in your court.

Manual

Postby gvigliani » Wed Aug 21, 2013 7:34 pm

Dear friends, you have to have a little 'patience. I'm writing a small manual to start betting a few cents. Unfortunately I do not know English and I have to translate with Google.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
