Exactly right OCD

You would be losing £3.45 instead of £21 - so your other £17 is safe in your account

George,

In your example of laying 2 horses, it wouldn't work the same.
if you just tick trading mode to start with then leave it the figure in the lvl profit box is only for spreading the profit on your last bet.

If however, you make your bets then untick and tick the lvl profit option, you get a pop-up showing all your bets and you can select which ones you want to 'level off'. You can select more than one bet to do this on, but they must either all be backs, or all be lays.
If you tick bets for more than 1 selection, you will get a figure against each one in the lvl profit box, and they apply only to the bets made on that selection.

I hope I've explained that properly.

If you want any help on the Excel version George just let me know. I have done it for the spreadsheet I use most.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
