Special Triggers

Postby ArduaAdAstra » Fri Oct 04, 2013 8:25 am

Hi

What do I actually type into Cell Q2 if I wanted to refresh the bet results sheet every 10 seconds for example?

Can you confirm that this function will update the sheet without a new race having to be loaded?

Does the trigger "hold" for all time?

Thanks

There's a new setting to do this in BA in the latest beta versions, see these links

I'm thinking that only updates the balance and not the "Log Bet Results" sheet as per using the special trigger (-6) in Q2?

Is it possible to add some code to force the -6 function in q2 say every 30 seconds?

Cheers

I see a lot of posts regarding Q2 people talking about -6 etc but where is the list of triggers for Q2 i.e. what does -2, -5, -6 etc mean ??

Open the user guide in the help menu. Select "Using Excel" and "Special Trigger Cells" there.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
