Right Click Stoploss

Postby U.F.O » Sun Aug 17, 2014 3:11 pm

My right click stoploss seems to place the closing bet at the wrong odds,

for example if i place the orange square at 3.6,
then it is triggerd when the market hits 3.6, but the problem is it is also placed at 3.6,
thus adding it to the very bottom of the queue, wich often means the market moving against it :?

the normal red square stopploss would place the exit bet at 3.65 to help ensure at match.

IS there a setting that im missing, i carnt find one ?

Can Anyone confirm if this is what it does ? and if so if there is a way to change it.

Just seems abit odd if it does work differently than the normal stop loss.

Hi,

The right click Stop Loss does use the odds that you set it at for the bet request, however there is an option in Ladder Preferences to offset the request by x number of ticks to aid in getting the Stop Loss bet matched.

You need to be using the latest version of the software.

Mark

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
