Not working trigger and refresh of matched bets.

Postby luba » Wed Nov 26, 2014 2:17 pm

I have bot developed about two years ago which was working but now it seems to be not. I am using BETDAQ Assistant. Only trigger which seems to be working is CANCEL, LAY and LAYR (BACK and BACKR), the others such CANCEL, CANCELL-ALL, UPDATE, are not doing its job.

I have tried this manually in sample speadsheet. So e.g. if I LAY a bet, clear reference and try to CANCEL it, it is still visible on betdaq webpage. Problem might be that Betting assistant dont show this bet in the list. Another thing is, when I am LAYing bet reference it returns PENDING than the bet number and than CANCELLED (after approximately one sec.) I dont know if this has something in common with this issue, also matched bets (together with profit, level profit) shows up in betting assistant only occasionally. But they are displayed at betdaq webpage correctly. So I think It might be some problem in comunnication between betdaq and assistant.

Oh now it seems nothing is working :) but It is not that bad :)

Have there been recently such problems?

I am using Betdaq bot version 1.0.9.1, Excel 2010 and win 7.

Thanks for any hepl, I have been trying to get this working for 4 days...

I've never seen this before in my case. But can this be classified as just a glitch?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
