Excel Freeze and BA close

Hi there!

In the last 2 weeks i had this scenario about 4-5 times.

I am running 1 instance of BA and connext 8 different excel (2013) sheets to 8 tabs.
Every tab refreshes every 3-4 secs.

The first UK-races (most 2-5) are fine, but then excel freezes and BA closes....

Its all running on an VPS (xtrahost, 1 GB Ram) no any other programs running.

Is there a limit of connected excel-sheets in one instance?

What can be the problem?

How to solve it?

Today a started 2 BA instances and splitted the excel-sheets between them, lets see if it does work the next days....

I run more sheets than that with a faster refresh with no problems. Are you trying to store data on each of the excel sheets? I can imagine you might run into size problems if you are saving cumulative data.

No, i am only running different system-bets and log the results.

Do the BA error logs show anything? Could your VBA be causing any conflicts? Do you know if they freeze at certain situations? Can you look at memory usage via your VPS? Could be memory issues if things seem OK for the first few races.

I am not so familiar with these things (VBA and so on).
I use the example-sheets from here and one from a ratings-website.

If you can have a look at the added files it would be very nice from you.
These days there were this freezing problems.

The log files would mean nothing to me either, PM or email them to Gary he should be able to tell you if there's a problem.
