IS IT POSSIBLE

Postby jsn9999 » Wed Dec 06, 2006 9:34 am

i am looking to lay all horses in the middle collumn on the left hand side.

eg.

back lay

2.02 2.04 2.06 2.08 2.1 2.12

4.1 4.2 4.3 4.4 4.5 4.6

6.0 6.2 6.4 6.6 6.8 7.0

i would like to lay all the field at the price 2.04, 4.2, 6.2 etc

at the moment i have to click lay all (on the standard betfair interface) and click each price 2 or three times to get me back to the left hand collumn.

In your odds column R you just need to enter something like

=+IF(OR(D5="",D5=0),"",D5) and copy it down the cells from R5 to how many runners they'll be in market - copying down to R50 should cover most markets unless you're laying golf markets etc.

That will populate the Odds column with the back odds from the middle "to back" column where odds appear.

In the stakes column enter something like

=+IF(OR(R15="",R15=0),"",ROUNDDOWN(stake/R15,2)) where stake is whatever liability you wish the market to be laid to i.e. £100 or whatever.

Just copy that down the stakes column from S5 to S50.

In the trigger column Q5 to Q50 just enter "LAY" and it'll lay the bets to a set liability (stake) . It's generally best to have some other conditions to fill in the trigger column as just leaving it on LAY will kick off everytime you go to that market so play with small stakes until you know what you're doing.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
