BA Locked up on the main sheet today.

Came home today to find the main sheet locked up with Canterbury Race 3 market not properly loaded and bets not placed. Which would have won. The other sheets seemed to all be ok and the only way I was able to unfreeze that worksheet was to choose a much earlier race in the day, click on it in the quickpick list and then it all unfroze. The Log for the race is below and this is the first time that I have seen something like this for quite a while. Almost as though the API froze on that particular sheet.

Now I have spoken to Betfair since posting above. They are saying post the upgrade on Monday this week that other people with Gruss are having problems and they are advising to delete Gruss and reinstall.

Currently running version 1.3.0.40 so that advice sounds a bit drastic and not something that I particularly want to do as my settings might be lost. Thoughts?

We are investigating the freeze issue. It may be streaming related. You can try it for a while with streaming disabled. Untick PS and OS at the top of the screen.

Uninstalling and reinstalling will not remove your settings.

Just for interest the TO and SL are already not ticked. Both crosses yet the log might indicate that the the API is streaming regardless of the settings in those tick box's? not sure so a question.

Hi,

TO and SL are Tick Offset and Stop Loss respectively.

To turn off streaming you need to tick on the green ticks next to PS and OS.
When they are red crosses streaming is disabled.

Confusion reigns. Those are also crossed. So four boxes. All crossed. And all crossed yesterday.

Hi,

With streaming disabled the software will be polling for prices and bets in the same way as it did in the old version.
