Auto Place Betting Question

Postby joben1 » Sun Aug 04, 2019 5:59 pm

Hi,

I have a system that looks at my selections win odds close to the off and, if my criteria are met, I place a place bet. Can this be set up on auto using Excel?

Cheers
Paul

You can have both win and place markets in excel linked to the same sheet so no reason why data on the win sheet can't be used to place bets on the place sheet.

just have win markets in tab 1 and place in tab 2 then link win to sheet 1 and place to sheet 2. If you're a bit more computer literate you could use the COM to access the API and place bets that way into the place markets.

Thanks for the quick response. I have no idea how to do that. Do you know of anyone that could create one for me? It would be gratefully appreciated.

Probably best ask in the find a developer section if you can't or don't want to do it yourself. viewforum.php?f=12

Maybe PM user osknows to see if he's available as he's probably the best gun for hire on here

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
