and to those moaning about what they CANT do with the program at the moment, have a think about what you CAN do with it, the dutching facility for example is brilliant.

For those moaning about not being able to logout , and account balance e.t.c, you simply have internet explorer running alongside, its not brain surgery

Awesome new version and very much appreciated Layit.

Layit are you working on a means of inputting our own prices as opposed to taking whats on offer? If so could I possibly suggest a Sporting Option style of format where you could just click on a list of odds and a list of various sums for betting?

For the terminally dumb amongst us i.e. me, can someone tell me how to use the Dutch facility?

Nutter, it's quite simple really. Just fill in the amount of profit you want in the dutch box then tick the horses/selections you want to include. The program then calculates the different stakes needed to cover the selections and when there is sufficient money available the dutch button goes green. You then press it and Hey Presto your bets are placed!

Thanks for that I wasn't quite sure how to get it activated but yes indeed it is another excellent addition to the programme.

Now one tiny problem I have come across Layit and that is if the number of selections exceeds a certain number (not sure exactly how many) then it confuses the programme and it can not open that market. For instance the the outright winner on the Golf for example. Of course it is not really a big problem but I thought you might like to know.

Hi Layit,

The latest version doesn't work with euros currency. I sent a mail explaining what's happen.
Odds like 3.65 is 365 for the program.

Anyway, congratulates for your fantastic program

No, it's not a mintor glitch. It's a mjor screw up. I forgot about the decimal point being represented as a comma on the continent. I hold my hands up.

I will fix this bug and after that I will stop releasing any more versions. Everyone's just too quick to shoot me down in flames.

Layit,

PLEASE don't stop releasing updates, don't let them get you down, this is a great program.

Nobody is forcing anybody to use it, if some people don't like it, then they can just delete it from their hard drives, and forget about it.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
