starting several spreadsheets within 1 workbook

Postby dflowe » Fri Mar 06, 2026 10:03 am

Hi Guys, I am a bit stuck. I want to start several sheets in 1 workbook using the "Log multiple sheets quick start".
I have set up the quick start but, it starts the workbook each time it starts a new worksheet and its slows it all down or seems to.....
How can I get it to use just the 1 workbook and the several worksheets within the 1 workbook?
Thanks
Dave

If it helps any on the quick link works and starts just the 1 work book if i use the start logging button bottom right, but if i start from the start logging individual buttons, it starts individual instances of the same workbook, maybe this is correct but it seems very odd to me.

I never used the idividual buttons but maybe it's designed to work this way?
Why don't you use the "main" button at the bottom right as you say?

Thanks for the reply, I have tried that as well and it also opens the workbook for every calc sheet so I have
6 workbooks open even, all are the same, its got me beat, I am sure it worked before with several calc sheets but just the 1 workbook

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
