I don't understand what you mean as it won't get entered onto system if you entered 2.85 on betfair, it comes up with an error message! am I missing something (do you want an error message in this program??

By the way Layit this program gets better and better, love the time to event clock, still getting familiar with not having the betfair website visable, but I'm sure I'll get there!!

yeah basically thats it! Just an error telling you that you can't place that bet. In betfair you would be told, but I was placing that bet with the trader and it was going through but nothing happened.

Cheers,

Money made tonight!

giraffee, i imagine layits prog is aimed at persons with a basic knowlege of betfair, which is a bit beyond someone who doesnt know that 2.85 isnt allowed, probally best to stick to hlls or laddys

Hi Gary ( layit )

The interface gets more like a trading tool with each tweak,

Any chance of having and account balance figure visable??

Also another program I use has a simular WOM reading, but it flash's if the liquidity in the 3 back or lay box's total over £1000, a nice visual aid, any chance of adding this feature.

How near is the trading auto mode to being available ( the auto stake calc for profit or minimising loss's will be a great asset.

Another idea that may be usefull, how about being able to place a back and lay bet with one click to user stakes and at a user set tick offset. ( a scalping tool..... )

Yep looking very good, i installed it for the first time the other day and have a few ideas on how it would work better for me.

1.when i have an open bet and want to change the odds the pop up comes up and the curser is in the odds box, at the moment i have to delete the current odds or double click the odds to over write them, it would be better for me if the odds were already highlighted (double clicked) then i would just have to enter my new odds.

2.It would be good if the bets at the bottom of the screen could be set to order by placed date.

Brilliant program,Gary, you are inundated with suggestions,so here's my two for the future
1. i would like to be able to dutch at the reverse odds, that is put up an order at the lay odds for a number of horses simultaneously.
2.Similiarly I would like to attempt to lay a number of horses at the same time, each to lose the same amount, possibly at the back odds.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
