Ok I have found my problem. If I make the wom column smaller it leaves a gap to the first of the back columns. It is impossible to get that first back column any further to the left, or at least it is for me.

If you look closely it appears that the selection name up to wom is all surrounded by its own box and is independent of anything to the right of this.

Anybody got round this ?

Layit, can you please clarify the override odds for me. I'm not sure where to enter the odds and where to click etc.

Apple Pie. The override odds are the odds you enter in the lay odds and back odds boxes in the top right hand corner. When override odds is ticked the odds in those boxes are requested when you click on a back or lay price and not the price that you click on. You might for example select back odds of 1.01 to ensure you get matched (ie. backing a horse in the last 100 yards). I don't recommend that strategy though

Like my use of technical terms

what sort of bandwidth does this program take up?

We've only got 1GB BT and we've had massive download problems, and I think I've traced it down to this. Are we talking about 500KB/minute?

Cheers,

Adam

regarding the "market suspending sound" , if I have more than one market in the BT window, and I get a market suspended sound, how do I know which of the markets is suspended?
till now I go through all markets to check which one is suspended. did I miss here some better way to see which market is suspended?
and how about an option to make also a looping sound ( beside the one time option right now), if the market is suspended?
this would give a constant sound in case I didnt hear the one time sound, as it is right now.
layit
thanx again for the software

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
