To use the new auto betting feature:
1. Select Auto Bets from the Auto betting menu.
2. Click on the event name and select the required event.
3. Choose your selection from the drop down list
4. Enter your stake and min and max odds that you will accept (the odds are initially populated +/- 30% best odds
5. Change the order start time to the time you want to start monitoring the market (default is 10 minutes before the event start)
6. Select the update period (default 1 second)
7. Choose Back/Lay from drop down
8. Enter criteria for placing bet
9. Click Activate button
Chase Odds: if you selected to bet at best back/lay price then on each refresh the bet will be updated to follow the odds (eg. if you selected 'best back price plus 5 ticks' and the odds were initially 3.4 your initial bet would be placed at 3.65, should the back odds drop to 3.35 then then your request will be updated to 3.60)
Replace bet in play: When the market goes in play and the bet has lapsed it will be placed again at the same odds.
Note: Below minimum stakes are not yet supported by this feature.
You can add as many auto bets as required using the 'Add auto bet' button.
Auto bets are independent of any markets you have displayed, in fact you don't need to have any markets displayed

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.
Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.
Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.
He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.
We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
