Layit I am a little confused as to the new feature which enables the closest odds to be displayed. If I click on the right arrow the closest odds are displayed to the best price at that moment. If I click the arrows again the increment drops by one. This is great if the market is one that is naturally heading toward 1.01 but what if the next natural direction should be up? ie a football team that is not winning has its odds rising not dropping?

Am I clicking it wrong or do I need to click elsewhere if I want to display the next natural 'up' odds?

Cheers

nutter punter. The arrows move the odds in both directions. Click on the left hand side of the arrow to decrement the odds and the right side to increment the odds. At least that's how it's supposed to work. Please let me know if it doesn't work for you.

I thought that might have been the idea but unfortunately on my version both sides decrement the odds.

Whenandwhere. Your browser appears to be caching an old version of the page. It currently reads 0.91. Does closing all your browser windows help?

Ok Gary it looks like this problem is going to be peculiar to me. I have two monitors and the screen is split across them both. If I have your programme on the left hand side and click the arrows the odds decrement. If I move the programme to the right hand side the odds increment.

Do you have any ideas how I might be able to sort that ?

That's the resolution I am using, but it work for me. Perhaps the way I identify where the user clicks is not the best method. I will make a change and let you know shortly.

Will you be charging for v1.0? I didn't have time to read all 19 pages in this thread before anyone asks.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
