How can i make this? (laypro88.com method)

Postby DM » Sun Sep 30, 2007 12:43 am

Hi,

First of all, i'm liking too much the "Betting Assistant" but i can't figure how can i do it:

- Bet on race with 10 or more runners
- Watching the odds 90 seconds before the start
- Lay the third favourite if the odd are between 5.5 and 7.5 and must be at least 1.50 more than the favourite.

It is very good if follow this bet plan too:

- After lost, double the bet, then decrease 1/5 of the start stake until reach the start stake.
Ex: The first stake was 10 and we won. The second stake stills 10 and we won again. We lost the 3 bet so, in the 4 bet we will stake 20 (10+10). We won so we will decrease the last stake (20) in 1/5 of the start stake (10). See the calculation: (1/5*10=0.2*10=2). Next stake will be 20-2=18 (Bet # 5). And we willcontinue decrease 2 until the next lost (Bet # 7). After one lost we will increase the stake by 1 unit (10 in this case). Next Stake will be 14 (the last one) plus 10 (the start stake). Calculations (14+10=24) and this is our Stake for Bet # 8. Then, as you can see we had a nice run with 9 wins in row. We will stop decreasing the last stake when reach our usual stake (10 in this example)

Sounds familiar? Is the laypro88.com method...

Some one can help me?

Thanks,
Luiz.

Never heard of it - and i would be very careful about any system that chases a loss.

That said, what you want to do is probably quite achievable using excel. Just set up your lay trigger and use the count formula to see how many runners are in the race and the small formula should allow you to pick the 3rd smallest.

DM - I'm not an Excel expert but even I can see that what you want to do is not too difficult in Excel, but it is impossible to explain. You wouldn't need to learn VBA.

In my opinion, all you can do is bury your head in the books for however long it takes (a few weeks, maybe) and learn the basics of writing formulas and functions in Excel. There are also some free Excel sheets available elswhere on this forum that offer a few ideas.

Good luck.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
