Are you by any chance triggering multiple bets at below minimum stakes? The program places the bets in one request so if you were betting on 5 selections at £1 each for example, it would need to initially place a bet of £2 on 5 selections at odds of 1000 (requiring you to have a balance of at least £10). So if you had less than £10 in your account the bets would not be placed.

Gary or someone else can you confirm the time format for auto selecting market from quick pick list, would it accept 8.5 minutes say or does it have to be full integers.

=IF(AND(F5>=2,F5<=10,Y2<0.0333),"BACK","WAIT") using this formula would it be possible to add to it to stop all bets if my balance reached a certain amount? i.e 5% increase :)

Yes, but I think you would have to make a note of your starting balance before you started betting, in Z1 for example. The you would have an added criteria to your AND part of the formula like I2>Z1*1.05

You can use in column the odds you want, f.i. copy the odds from column H.

To lay the current available lay odds just enter something like

+H5 in the odds cell R5

No need to bother with => as that part is taken care of by your trigger cell.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
