Lay Triggers
The following trigger keywords are for submitting lay bets:-
| Trigger | Description | Notes |
| LAY | Submits a lay bet using the odds and stake in the adjacent cells to the right of the trigger cell. | If the odds column does not contain valid Betfair odds then they will be rounded to the nearest valid odds. |
| LAYR | Replaces an unmatched bet. Use this trigger if you want to cancel and replace an unmatched bet with a lay bet. |
You don't need to clear the bet ref column to use this trigger. However once it has been used the new bet reference will have N appended to it, so should you wish to use a further time you will need to remove the N from the reference or blank the bet ref cell. |
| LAYSP | Submits a lay bet using Betfair SP odds. | In the odds column put the maximum odds that you are prepared to accept. In the stake column put the liability that you want to use. | LAYFIELD | Use this trigger to submit the same lay bet for every selection in the field. The trigger can be used in any of the selections and the odds and stake used will be those that are in the adjacent trigger cells. |
Because there will be multiple bet references, the bet ref column will display VARIOUS. |
