You are allowed to make 5000 transactions per hour before incurring this charge.

A transaction is when you place or modify a bet or a failed transaction which is where the bet request has generated an error.

Betting Assistant displays the number of transactions in the current hour in a counter in the Info Bar (as per image below)



The number of transactions is also shown in cell N2 if you are using Excel Triggered Betting .

For the purposes of counting transactions, Betfair use for example 09:00-09:59, 10:00-10:59 etc.

The count is reset to 0 on the hour eg. if the counter is not 0 at 10:59 am then it will be reset to 0 at 11:00 am.
